Timeout Waiting For Reinvite To Fax

The call connected, but the gateway failed to send a reinvite for T.38 either because there were no fax tones detected on the remote side or because the gateway does not support T.38.
Ensure that
  • The gateway used supports T.38 and is configured to reinvite for T.38 when tones are detected.
  • The number called was answered by a fax device

The NET SatisFAXtion fax server will record any audio received during the initial outbound call setup. To recover the audio, send a fax from the Administration program. Look in the Program Files\NET SatisFAXtion\Queues directory for a WAV file. Listen to the audio; if you hear fax tones then the gateway is not properly reinviting for T.38.
