PROBLEM

Autoprint settings from Administration do not show any available printers to select.

CAUSE

No printers showing as available can be caused for two reasons.
1. The Fax Server loads as a service using a user account that has never installed any printers.
2. There are more than 40 printers installed for use on the Fax Server. (only affects NET SatisFAXtion version 7.0 and 7.01)

SOLUTION

1. Check the user account used by NET SatisFAXtion - Logon to the machine as that user and install printers. Now they will be available by the fax server service account

Find the user account used by the NET SatisFAXtion Fax Service.

Open Control Panel and select Administrative Tools (Windows 2000, XP and 2003)
Select the NET SatisFAXtion service, right click it and select Properties
Click on the Log On tab to display the user account used by the NET SatisFAXtion Service

Below is how to determine what windows user account is used by the NET SatisFAXtion Service

2. If there are more than 40 printers installed, autoprint.dll - version 7.0 - does not find printers when there are more than 40 installed.
replace the current autoprint.dll with the attached DLL below (This is solved in versions 7.5 and newer autoprint.dll)
