PROBLEM

Microsoft SQL Server Express logs to the Application Event Log too much.

SOLUTION

This solution requires Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express (SSMSE). It can be downloaded from Microsoft here: link

Open SQL Server Management Studio Express.
Connect to your NET SatisFAXtion SQL Instance (servername\NETSATISFAXTION)
Expand out Databases > NET_SatisFAXtion_Logs
Right-click on NET_SatisFAXtion_Logs, select Properties.
Go to the Options page:
DisableAutoClose.gif
Change "Auto Close" to False.
