This article applies to NET SatisFAXtion SMTP gateway versions 8.6 and earlier.


The NetSat SMTP gateway continuously resends the same email message to a mail user.


The most common cause of this issue is an email generated from a received fax event with no fax image content.


Stop the NetSat fax server and gateway, and rename the Data and Queues folders under the NetSat installation folder. Also rename the SMTP Queue folder under the SMTP Gateway folder.

Create new, empty Data, Queues and SMTP Queue folders, and reload NetSat and the SMTP gateway.
