The Client Suite is installed to a location other than c:\Program Files\NET SatisFAXtion\Client Suite. When Outlook loaded, it could not find FormExtension.dll; that it could not be found at c:\Program Files\NET SatisFAXtion\Client Suite. Since Outlook couldn't find the add in, the 'registration' fax could not be sent, so Client Suite could not complete the installation.


In reality, this is not a bug, but rather a sequencing problem. The Client Suite had been previously installed on this workstation, in the usual location (C:\...). After uninstalling this 'original' Client Suite installation, the user went directly to install another Client Suite, this time on drive D.

The reason the user got the error is because Outlook did not know the prior version had been uninstalled. Installing and uninstalling add-ins is something that Outlook does when it's loaded. If you uninstall Client Suite, and never run outlook, the Client Suite uninstall isn't complete. When the new version is installed to a different location, Outlook looks in the old install directory.


The solution is to uninstall Client Suite, run Outlook, then re-install Client Suite.
