PROBLEM

Registry settings for the Hardware Communication Driver are missing after running Change Server Settings.
The exact error text in the splash screen is The queues directory specified in the registry is invalid.

CAUSE

Bug in Change Server Settings (Version 7.5 only) when hitting the cancel button wipes out some registry settings.

SOLUTION


The best solution is to upgrade to version 8.0 or newer at http://www.faxback.com/support/updatectr/index.aspx
To quickly get up and running, download and double click the attached reg file below.
Download to your fax server and double click to merge into your registry.
Load your Fax Server Service.
