PROBLEM

When printing a document to the FaxOut print driver after several minutes have elapsed, the conversion interface appears as a blank, gray window where the rendered image should exist.

CAUSE

Internet access is disabled on the client PC. The FaxOut print driver is a signed executable. As such, Windows will attempt to certify this executable at crl.verisign.net. If it cannot do this because Internet access has been disabled on the PC, it will time out with the results described above.

SOLUTION

Enable Internet access on the client PC. If company policy prohibits enabling internet access on the affected PC, then download the unsigned executable in this article and copy it to C:\Program Files\NET SatisFAXtion\Client Suite, overwriting the default signed executable in this folder.
